  WE NEED A SAVIOR TO RESCUE US FROM  THIS DARKNESS - A CRY FROM MMAABASA PEOPLE The people of mmaabasa cry and wishes that the government remembers them and save them from the darkness they are in now Our roads are poor which makes it difficult for cars to go that further especially when it rains heavily - says the citizens  Our schools are not suitable and convenient for learning at all We also have only one hospital in our community and the ward for delivery is the same place we use to receive sick patients for treatment says the chief of the community We really need help from the government for we are really suffering.. Court of Appeal Judge Emmanuel Ankamah is to be investigated by the Chief Justice regarding how he handled a case involving the estate of a deceased pastor while he was a High Court Judge at Tema. A five-member Supreme Court panel, with Justice Victor Jones Dotse presiding, called for the investigation insisting the conduct of the Judge and then Registrar of the court, Sebastian Agbo has the potential to affect the image of the Judiciary. “In our collective wisdom, we deem it appropriate to refer this case to the Chief Justice to cause further investigations into the conduct of the learned trial judge and Sebastian Agbo, then Registrar of the High Court, Tema under whose tenure the sordid affairs happened,” Justice Dotse stated in his valedictory Judgment Following the death of one Rev Emmanuel Dorgbadzi, a dispute arose as to who should administer his estate. The comments come as the BBC finds evidence of how Ghana’s health system is struggling due to the “brain-drain”. Many specialist nurses have left the West African country for better-paid jobs overseas. In 2022 more than 1,200 Ghanaian nurses joined the UK’s nursing register. This comes as the National Health Service (NHS) increasingly relies on staff from non-EU countries to fill vacancies. Although the UK says active recruitment in Ghana is not allowed, social media means nurses can easily see the vacancies available in NHS trusts. They can then apply for those jobs directly. Methodist school turned into school kitchen

C/R TWIFO PRASO METHODIST A&B BASIC SCHOOL IN TWIFU ATTI MORKWA DISTRICT OF CENTRAL REGION HAS NOW TURN INTO SCHOOL KITCHEN  The windstorm that occurred at Twifo Praso in the Twifo Atti-morkwa district of central region during the Good Friday this year ripped off the entire roofs of the lower primary classrooms of Twifo Praso Methodist A&B Basic School. In view of this, the school authorities have been compelled to resort to a multi grade system where students in the affected classrooms have been combined with the other classrooms that were not affected by the windstorm which has created serious congestion in the classrooms.
